##### Mailing lists {#maillists-26.6.0}

* Added support for dashboard mailing lists (subscriptions) via email. To enable this feature, use one of these two methods:

    * Via the `./init.sh --subscriptions` deployment argument, which automatically activates the related services:
        * snapter: Generates attachments with screenshots.
        * notify: Sends emails.
        * sec-embeds: Secure embeddings.
        * s3.
        * temporal.

    * You will have to specify the following via parameters in the `values.yaml` file:
        * `features.subscriptions.enabled`: Enables the mailing list feature.
        * `features.snapter.enabled`: Enables the service that generates attachments with screenshots.
        * `features.sec_embeds.enabled`: Enables secure embeddings.
        * `infra.notify.enabled`: Enables the email service.
        * `infra.s3.enabled`: Enables the S3 object storage.
        * `infra.temporal.enabled`: Enables the Temporal task orchestration service.
        * `infra.notify.mail_smtp.host`: SMTP server address.
        * `infra.notify.mail_smtp.port`: SMTP server port.
        * `infra.notify.mail_smtp.user`: Username for authentication to the SMTP server.
        * `infra.notify.mail_smtp.secure`: Enables secure TLS connection to the SMTP server; this is an optional setting.

* Deploying the mailing list service requires additional PostgreSQL databases: `pg-notify-db`, `pg-notify-pgboss-db`, and `pg-notify-csat-db`. After an upgrade from version 26.5.1 or lower, before you activate the mailing list feature, you should manually create additional databases using one of the following methods:

    * If using an external PostgreSQL cluster, before you upgrade, first add to the cluster three new databases with the following extensions: `pg_trgm`, `btree_gin`, `btree_gist`, and `uuid-ossp`.
        * `pg-notify-db`
        * `pg-notify-pgboss-db`
        * `pg-notify-csat-db`

    * If using a built-in PostgreSQL cluster, after you upgrade to the new version, execute the following commands to add new databases:

        ```bash
        ./init.sh --pg /init/utils.sh --update-template-collation

        ./init.sh --pg /init/init-db-notify.sh
        ```

* When deploying using the `--values` argument in the configuration file, you should also fill in the `postgres.POSTGRES_DB_NOTIFY`, `postgres.POSTGRES_DB_NOTIFY_PGBOSS`, `postgres.POSTGRES_DB_NOTIFY_CSAT`, and `postgres.POSTGRES_USER_NOTIFY` parameters and the database access password in `secrets.POSTGRES_PASSWORD_NOTIFY`.

* Added the `./init.sh --mem-scale <scale>` argument to scale the requested memory amounts (similar to `--cpu-scale`).
* You can now override image versions of infrastructure services via the `infra.*.version` parameter in `values.yaml`.
* Added environment variables to configure limits in services used for data processing:

    * `file-uploader-api`:
        * `MAX_FILE_SIZE_BYTES`: Maximum file size for upload in a file connection; the default value is 200 MB.
        * `PRESIGNED_URL_MAX_BYTES`: Maximum file size for upload via a presigned URL in S3; the default value is 200 MB.

    * `file-uploader-worker`:
        * `MAX_FILE_SIZE_BYTES`: Maximum file size for Google Sheets and Yandex Documents connections; the default value is 200 MB.

    * `control-api` and `data-api`:
        * `CONSTRAINTS__MAX_AVATARS`: Maximum number of tables per dataset; the default value is 32.
        * `CONSTRAINTS__FIELD_COUNT_LIMIT_SOFT`: Soft limit on the number of fields in a dataset: if exceeded, triggers a validation error but does not block saving; the default value is 1200.
        * `CONSTRAINTS__FIELD_COUNT_LIMIT_HARD`: Hard limit on the number of fields in a dataset: no change in excess of the limit gets saved; the default value is 1250.

    * `export-api`:
        * `EXPORT_TIMEOUT`: Maximum duration of a background export in seconds; the default value is 30 minutes.

    * `export-worker`:
        * `EXPORT_ROWS_HARD_LIMIT`: Maximum number of rows in a background export; the default value is 1 million.
        * `EXPORT_BATCH_SIZE`: Number of rows uploaded from the source per request during a background export; the default value is 50,000.
        * `EXPORT_MAX_FILE_SIZE_BYTES`: Maximum data volume for a background export; the default value is 1 GB.

At the metadata storage (`united-storage`) level, added support for an additional PostgreSQL database, `pg-aux-db`. When upgrading from version 26.4.0 or lower, make sure to manually create an additional database using one of the following options:

* If using an external PostgreSQL cluster, before you upgrade, first add to the cluster a new database named `pg-aux-db` with the following extensions:

  * `pg_trgm`
  * `btree_gin`
  * `btree_gist`
  * `uuid-ossp`

* If using a built-in PostgreSQL cluster, after upgrading, execute the following commands to add a new database:
