Neuroanalyst in DataLens On-premises

DataLens On-premises Neuroanalyst is a group of AI assistants that help you with project analysis, suggest improvements and edits, and streamline creating and editing visualizations.

Data security and processing

  • When working with Neuroanalyst, you can either use a model from Yandex Cloud AI Studio or integrate your own model.

  • Your data and queries stay within the Yandex Cloud infrastructure.

  • Your data and queries are not logged, nor used for model fine-tuning.

  • The admin can disable generation of insights for your users at the dashboard or report level.

Banning the use of Neuroanalyst

DataLens users can use Neuroanalyst by default. Any user with the datalens.admin role can disable this option at the DataLens instance level or for individual dashboards/reports:

By default, Neuroanalyst is disabled at the DataLens instance level. To enable Neuroanalyst at the DataLens instance level, provide AI configuration parameters using the ./init.sh script or specify them in the values.yaml file.

  1. In the left-hand panel, click Dashboards and select the dashboard you need.
  2. In the top-right corner, click Edit.
  3. At the top of the screen, click .
  4. In the settings window, disable Neuroanalyst (on by default).
  5. In the top-right corner, click Save.

After that, the AI assistant will become unavailable for this dashboard.

  1. In the left-hand panel, click Reports and select the report.

  2. At the top right, click Report settings.

  3. In the Other settings section, disable Neuroanalyst (on by default).

  4. In the top-right corner, click Save.

After that, the AI assistant will become unavailable for this report.
