## Creating a copy or draft of the dashboard {#create-dashboard-copy}

To create a dashboard copy, use one of these methods:

* In the dashboard editing mode, in the top-right corner, click <!-- diplodoc:svg ![image](../../_assets/console-icons/chevron-down.svg) --><svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="16" height="16" fill="none" viewBox="0 0 16 16"><path fill="currentColor" fill-rule="evenodd" d="M2.97 5.47a.75.75 0 0 1 1.06 0L8 9.44l3.97-3.97a.75.75 0 1 1 1.06 1.06l-4.5 4.5a.75.75 0 0 1-1.06 0l-4.5-4.5a.75.75 0 0 1 0-1.06" clip-rule="evenodd"/></svg> → **Save as copy**. In the window that opens, enter a name for the new dashboard and click **Save**. All changes in the current version will be saved to the new dashboard.
