# [DataLens On-premises]: Use of QL charts is prohibited at connection level

`ERR.DS_API.CONNECTION_CONFIG.DASHSQL_NOT_ALLOWED`

The error occurs when the use of [QL charts](../../concepts/chart/ql-charts.md) is prohibited at the connection level.

To fix the error, enable the **SQL to read** option in the connection settings.
